" When it goes right,it's fantastic". You should live so long :victory:

Ade Edmonson is ok, but I think a more appropriate commentator would have been Denis Nordern from" It'll Be Alright On The Night".

I've now seen three of Mr Gallagher's videos, the kindest comment I could make on them is, " no comment". Oh well, I suppose someone had to fill the gap left by ," Some Mothers Do Ave Em".

Well that make a change normally so vocal on your thoughts

I respond to comments from others when I think it is warranted, positively, or negatively as the occasion demands

You already know my opinion of you, but if you wish to re-open hostilities, feel free to do so.

I don't think you have the artillery to trouble me unduly.

maybe more than 4 pairs of feet, what about the production crew cameraman etc surely if your trying to promote something like ferreting youd pick ideal location and conditions so things went as smooth as poss and it was seen in a good light but just thinking was it the sport he was trying to promote ? or was it ......nah i'm just being cynical

It's a shame that people don't take a little more thought when planning something like this: not during summer time, rabbits with young, not bolting well, crops up, deep bank warren: the list goes on.

Years ago we did a little interview and ferreting with our local BBC Look East, when the marches were going on during the lead-up to the ban: we picked a shallow small warren we knew well, made sure there were rabbits at home before letting them turn on the cameras (used a dog to mark them first), then made sure that we both knew exactly what we were doing, and the crew also knew what was likely to happen: putting them in the best places to film a bolt etc. Not rocket science: just needs a bit of forethought IMO.

Edited a few hours later to add: I seem to have upset some people over my comments, for which I apologise, but I stand by what I said. It is always dangerous to appear in front of a television camera crew who know nothing about hunting, and even if they don't do it intentionally, they can make people appear in a less than favourable light. It pays to have full control over the editing (if at all possible), or say no to being filmed at all.
